Description
The owner, Bob, is in the bar most nights. Bob started the bar in 2005 because he loves food, people and beer. He's got the old beer ads to prove it... they're plastered all over the walls. All of our bartenders and waiters know beer inside and out. If you're not quite sure what you want, leave it up to them to decide. You'll go home happy.
In the Spring, Summer and Fall, come enjoy the open doors and patio area on Madison Street, where you can catch a glimpse of the best the West Loop has to offer. And in the winter, our traditional mahogany back bar and exposed brick will make you feel right at home.
It's simple: The Beer Bistro is a good bar with a fun attitude. Never too serious. And despite our rotating selection of high-end beers, you'll never be looked-down upon for ordering a High Life. Come on by for a good time and a good pint. Nothing more, nothing less. That's what makes The Beer Bistro different. We serve beers and serve food that will make you feel good and keep your taste-buds happy.
Wallet slimmer than normal?
PBRs are $2 on Wednesdays. Feeling fancy? We've got so many Belgians we should be serving waffles and chocolate.
Almost everyday, we try to treat our guests to wonderful food and beverage specials.
Want a Party?
We built the bar around our love for beer. And we love to party; it comes with the territory.
We love to party so much that we built two special areas in our bar that you can reserve for your group. Upstairs, in the back, we have an enclosed red--velvet booth area with a dedicated flatscreen. For a group of 5-20, it provides just enough privacy. And the option to spill out into the bar area if need be.
Downstairs, we have a full bar, tables, four booths and lots of customizable space for a larger get-together. Give us a call at 312.433.0013 and we'll set something up for you.
